R&M Module Set Up

R&M is an extensive, feature rich module and so initial set-up is more complicated than other modules.

Many of the reference files required can be created or provided during deployment as part of AusFleet's optional Data Migration service.

Set-up of this module is divided into separate chapters:

Understanding Service Regimes

Requirement/Parts/Kits/Regimes Reference Files

Other Reference Files

Parameters and Other Options

Recommended order for completing reference files:

Suppliers

See Suppliers chapter

Parts

The parts required on R&M jobs. Users of Inventory module should enter all parts here first.

Requirements

The tasks to be completed on R&M jobs. Usually provided as part of data migration service on deployment or as default reference files

Kits

A combination of parts and requirements that are needed for each service type

Regimes

The service intervals with a Kit attached to each and the Make/Model/Series to which they apply

Others

In any order

For accurate service scheduling it is vital that jobs are closed when complete and that accurate odometers are recorded.

Closing a job triggers update of the service schedule.
